Note by Jorge Gabitto about his Reich Defense Campaign

" I would appreciate if you can post in your page a Demo file corresponding to a new campaign I am designing. The name is Reich Defense. It is meant to replace Defending the Reich.  The Demo contains the complete campaign introduction, a demo introduction and a sample of 6 standalone scenarios.

The full campaign contains 28 scenarios total without any repeated scenario. It is non-linear with the longest line 16.  Complete information is provided in the file. It uses the Zerstorer equipment file and only original SSI maps. An interesting feature is the presence of several "defense" scenarios following the Lasse Jensen's idea. The purpose of this is to get feedback before releasing the campaign. Playability is my biggest concern I do not want to make so easy that an advanced player can not touch it, but at the same time not too difficult for an average player. I sent some scenarios to the Wargamer requesting feed-back, many people downloaded the scenarios, but I did not get a single reply. I expect to complete the final version in about two months.  All the scenarios are already prepared, but they need fine-tuning. " (About original demo)

"I attached a beta copy of the complete Reich Defense campaign. This copy is
not intended to be the final version yet. It is offered for playtesting and
evaluation. After some feed-back I would produced the final one. I have done
extensive playtesting myself, but I would like to have some feedback and add
as many geographical details as possible before turning in the final version.
The number of scenarios was increased to 31 from the originally intended 28.
In reality if you are a good player you can play two completely different
campaigns of 16 scenarios duration each." (About Beta demo)

"I would appreciate if you can replace the demo beta version of my Reich
Defense campaign by the one I am attaching. One of the players found a way to
win a scenario in 2 turns. This is related to the Defense scenarios where if
the defending player captures any player owned hex, he will win. I try to
minimize this possibility and is very small in all the scenarios, but one.
Anyway I found a way to make this problem dissapear alltogether." (About revised version added on 5/29/00)
