This is a page to collect new mods (but only those made after about August,
2003) to be distributed to the rest of the PG2 community. If you are looking for something you should look on Builders Paradise first, then here.
If you need to know where to find something, please ask
me. Please send all new material to
me. Please note: I do not intend to collect icons
here.

Equipment
Files:
- Sapper's
Kampfgruppe Equipment File (June 2009 version) -
643KB - 2009:
"I made 1 unit addition (Germany -- AT class -- '43 FlaK KG) 3 unit
stat changes (only +/-1 here and there), and many icon changes (to better
reflect the units, mostly in minor/small countries." 2008:
"The theme and entire reason for my to make this BATTALION ORGANIZATION AND DOCTRINE based E-file is to recognize that war at the battalion level shows a variety of equipment within the same unit. For example a German Panzer Battalion in 1941 had a mixture of PzKw II's, PzKw III's, PzKw 38(t)'s, and PzKw IV's, and multiple versions (D's, E's, A's, F1's etc) to boot. So this equipment file recognizes that and I've made my units portray these 'mixed' units, for excruciating detail on how I built each unit - check out my EXCEL file spreadsheets (included in the Equipment File zip file download.)"
- Richard
Gill's Equipment file - 13KB (January 16, 2007) - "Is not stock-SSI compatible, is a
custom build based on historical
TOEs. Tanks are often expressed as BG (BattleGroups), do not panic! These reflect around 30-40 tanks, usually a Russian tank battalion or two companies of western
tanks. A 1944 Pz Bn would be 2x Panther, 2x PzIV = 8 companies. Most combat units have support fire, only AT and Tanks have range 2.
Air units have recon-movement to better represent real time movement. Air also has limited ammunition, to represent the need to
re-arm."
- Rohan's
Expanded Waffenkammer Equipment File - 883KB (2 May, 2007) - "This equipment file is a greatly expanded version of Andreas Seidel's Waffenkammer file. At a minimum, you need the Equip97.eqp, Equip97.txt, GUI97.txt, and NAMES.txt to make this work. You also need this PANZER2.DAT if you want to enjoy the proper flags, leader pictures (some unique) and medals in the game. You do not need the original WK file, since everything is included here."
